PrimePay originally used a metallic gold PMS. With leadership's choice to move away from printing with their original PMS and push toward in-house and digital printing, the local print jobs could not accurately reproduce the metallic ink's beauty.
The new shade of yellow helped add freshness to the SAAS brand, and allowed for leaner printing costs, without a loss in quality. We slowly rolled out the new brand color in social media, advertising, and ebooks, until we eventually updated the logo itself.
